Summary:

The Brexit phenomenon opened the door to Nationalisms. Although democracies try to detract from these right-wing movements, the European society is increasingly shifting, with more frequency, towards Euroscepticism, understood as the lack of trust in the European Union. The great integration crisis that the European continent is experiencing implies the advancement of the extreme right-wing because reality calls together for decision and actions for radical measures to restore order within the Eurozone.

Key words: Euroscepticism, Nationalisms, Globalization, Radical right-wing, crisis, European Union, Brexit, Integration, Politics.

As a concept, Euroscepticism involves three main ideas: the European Union  (EU), Globalization and the Radical right-wing. First, the European Union is mentioned because the Eurosceptic phenomenon is originated and developed within the Union. Second, it is spoken of Globalization due to the fact that Euroscepticism is introduced as an answer to Globalization and, finally, it is mentioned the Radical right-wing since those who encourage the Eurosceptic movements are the Radical right-wing political parties, in its majority.

The etymology of the word "Euroscepticism" comes from the fusion of the terms –euro and –sceptic. As to the first, it means that it is related or belonging to the European Union, while the second term, it is understood that it derives from scepticism, that is the lack of trust or mistrust to something. A complete comprehension of these two terms yields the concept of Euroscepticism, understood as an ensemble of political parties of right-wing and/or conservative tendency that rejects wholly (radical) or partially the European Union.
In principle, the European Union was born with the purpose of forming an alliance between the countries of the European continent in order to join in one single force and make a balance towards the world powers in that moment –the USA and the USSR- and, in this way, avoid a large-scale new conflict. Along this same line, the different integrationi treaties , which allowed the birth of the European Union; have instilled in its citizens a series of traditions and, consequently with them, the attachmentii to its own culture and identity, factors that, without doubt, are the traits that distinguish them from other civilizations.
